John Ballard (April 14 1951) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and producer, he wrote a lot of Ace Of Bace songs.
In 1983 he participated together with Ann-Louise Hansson in the Swedish Melodifestivalen with the song Bara En Enda Gång which came 5th, in 1984 he tried again to win the Melodifestivalen. With the song Rendez-Vous he came 3rd.
The Finnish group Beat, consisted of brothers Janne and Kim Engblom, Tina Petersson and Tina Krause. They won the Finnish national in 1990 with the song Fri which they sung in Swedish. At the Eurovision Song Contest Beat came 21 with 8 points. After the contest the group stopped but the brothers Janne and Kim are still well known musicians in Finland.
Vicente Seguí Porres, better known simply as Vicente, is a Spanish singer born in Villamarchante, Valencia, Spain on December 25 1978. He started with the Valencian orchestra La Metro. In 2004, Vicente was the winner of Operación Triunfo, the Spanish pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. In the final show he came 2nd with Se Me Va La Vida which is my favourite of the Spanish national final in 2004..
He later released three albums and did many concerts. He also collaborated in musical programs on Valencian TV including Bona Nit and El Picú as co-presenter and singer.
The German national final 1963 was held at the TV studios in Frankfurt. Heidi Brühl performed five songs and the winner was chosen by postcard voting. The song Marcel was a runaway winner, receiving almost two-thirds of all votes cast. It is rumoured that Margot Eskens would represent Germany after Heidi refused but eventually Heidi did participate and poor Margot had to wait three more years.......

Heidi Rosemarie Brühl (January 30 1942, Gräfelfing, Upper Bavaria - June 8 1991, Starnberg) was a German singer and actress who came to prominence as a young teenager and had a successful career in film and television. She was also a successful recording artist, and is known for her participation in the 1963 Eurovision Song Contest.
Heidi's first screen appearance was in the 1954 film Der letzte Sommer with Liselotte Pulver. Die Mädels von Immenhof, adapted from a novel by children's writer Ursula Bruns, appeared in 1955 and was followed by two sequels, Hochzeit auf Immenhof and Ferien auf Immenhof, at yearly intervals.
In 1959, Brühl obtained a record deal with the Philips label, and her first single"Chico Chico Charlie reached #5. In 1960 her recording of Wir Wollen Niemals Auseinandergeh'n sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc.
Heidi Brühl first took part in the German Eurovision selection in 1960 with the Michael Jary-composed Wir wollen niemals auseinandergehen, which finished in second place but went on to top the German singles chart for nine weeks.In 1963, Heidi was chosen to represent Germany at the eighth Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 5 March in London. Her song Marcel finished in ninth place.
Heidi Brühl also co-starred with Guy Williams in the 1963 classic film Captain Sindbad.
Heidi met American actor Brett Halsey, and moved with him to Rome, where they married in December 1964. In 1970, she moved to the USA where she appeared in shows in Las Vegas and played in television series such as Columbo. Heidi returned to Germany to play in two further Immenhof sequels in 1973/1974, Zwillinge vom Immenhof and Frühling auf Immenhof. She appeared in The Eiger Sanction in 1975.
Brühl and Halsey divorced in 1976, and she returned to live in Germany the following year. She did dubbing work on films such as The NeverEnding Story and Look Who's Talking Too, and her last roles were in television serials such as Ein Fall für zwei and Praxis Bülowbogen.
Brühl died of breast cancer on June 8 1991, aged 49.
Catja van Rhee and Berry Ketelaar formed the duo Mystique and participated at the Dutch national final in 1983 with Rendez-vous which came 8th and Op Zo'n Dag which finished last. After the disappointing result the duo stopped.
