Alexey Vladimirovich Vorobyov, better known as Alexey Vorobyov, is a Russian singer and actor who was born on January 19 1988. He sings in English and Russian. He competed in the Russian pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with the song New Russian Kalinka which came 5th, in 2009 he competed again but he came 4th with the song Angelom Byt. In 2011 he was chosen to represent Russia with the song Get You. He will perform it under the stage name Alex Sparrow, which is the translation of his Russian name to English.Thursday 24 March 2011
