In 2007 Vlatko started his solo career and participated 4 times in the Macedonian pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2008 he sang So Drugi Zborovi but finished only 13th, in 2009 he came 6th with the song Najbogat Na Svet, in 2010 he participated again and came equal 1st with the song Srekja but the results of the "expert" jury took precedence so Gjoko Taneski won the ticket to Oslo. Finally in 2011 he won the Macedonian national final with the song Rusinka.

ESC 2011, semi-final 2 - (FY) Republic of Macedonia
Vlatko Ilievski, born on July 2 1985 in Skopje, is a Macedonian actor and singer. At the age of 12 he started playing guitar and singing in local bands. In 2000 Vlatko joined the band Morality until 2007. The band was very successful and released several albums.
