Paolo Mengoli (Bolgna, August 14, 1950) is an Italian singer.In 1968 Paolo became wellknown by winning a talentshow. A year later he had his biggest hit with the song Perché L'hai Fatto. In 1970 he participated at the Festival di Sanremo with the song Ahi! Che Male Che Mi Fai, which didn't reach the final and in 1971 he participated again at Sanremo, he again didn't reach the final with I Ragazzi Come Noi.
In 1970 Paolo represented Italy at the first World Popular Song Festival. with the song Mi Piaci Da Morire, which came 6th and won an Outstanding Song Award and an Outstanding Performance Award.
In 1992 he participated once again at the Festival di Sanremo with the song Io Ti Darò but this time he also didn't qualify for the final.
Currently he is a frequent guest of talk shows on Italian television.
