Alban Skënderaj & Miriam Cani

Alban Skënderaj, born 1982 in Vlora, Albania is a singer who moved to Pistoia, Italy at the age of 14, were he lives still today with his family. In June 2006, he played the role of Romeo in the Albanian version of Gerard Presgurvic's musical Roméo et Juliette, de la Haine à l'Amour.

Miriam Cani, born 1985 in Elbasan, Albania is a German singer and television host of Albanian descent. At the age of six she moved together with her family to Heidelberg, Germany were she soon attained German citizenship along with the rest of her family. In 2003 Miriam Cani, along with 13.000 other participants, auditioned for a spot in the German version of the talent show Popstars and in the end was voted one of the winners and became a member of the girl group Preluders, which were very successful in Germany. She hosted the Albanian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Cani made her first TV appearance in Germany in 1993 in the show "Interaktiv".

In december 2010 Alban and Miriam participated in the Albanian national final for the ESC 2011 with the song Ënde Ka Shpresë which came 2nd.
