Darren Holden


Darren Holden is an Irish singer-songwriter. He has performed on Broadway as part of Riverdance and in the tours for Riverdance in Scandinavia, Germany, Hungary, Belgium and Yugoslavia. His debut album entitled Suddenly was released in Ireland and Europe in 1998, and contained 3 Top 30 hit singles. He toured Europe, Russia and Asia extensively from 1994 -1999, including support slots with Paul Young, Belinda Carlisle, Bonnie Tyler, and Uriah Heep. In 1994 Darren participated for the first time in the Irish pre-selection for the ESC with the song After Tonight which came 3rd. In 1997 Darren participated again in the Irish national final with the typical Irish ballad Suddenly which came 2nd.
