Tony Wegas

Tony Wegas, born as Anton Hans Sarközi on May 3 1964 in Unterschützen is an Austrian singer, musician and television actor.

Tony was born in a Roma family and was inspired by his father who also was a musician.

In 1991 Tony participated in the Austrian national final with the song Wunder Dieser Welt which came 2nd. In 1992 he was invited by Austrian television to sing the Dieter Bohlen song Zusammen Geh'n at the ESC in Sweden. He was one of the favourite to win but he stranded on a disappointing 10th place. In 1993 he got another chance. He sang al the song in the Austrian pre-selection for the ESC. The winning song Maria Magdalena came 14th in Millstreet.

In the following years Tony had major problems with alcohol and drugs. In 2000 he wrote a book about his addiction.

Tony is still active in music and is trying to make a comeback.

Corry Brokken

Corry Brokken (born December 3 in Breda) is a former Dutch singer, TV and radio presenter and a judge. Corry won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 with the song Net Als Toen and she won an Edison Award in 1963 and 1995.

Corry made her singing debut in 1952.

In 1956 she won the Dutch pre-selection for the first ESC with the song Voorgoed Voorbij, in 1957 she won the dutch national final and the ESC in Frankfurt with the song Net Als Toen, in 1958 she won the Dutch national final again and she was the favourite to win the ESC in Hilversum but her song Heel De Wereld came last and her last attempt to represent the Netherlands at the ESC was 1959 but she didn't win. In 1966 she was asked to represent Germany at the ESC but Corry refused.

Corry had several hits in the Netherlands and Germany with covers of French songs like Milord and La Mamma.

Corry performed in many theater productions and TV shows in the 60s and early 70s and even got her own TV show.

In 1976 Corry was the host of the ESC in The Hague but after that she retired form the show business and became a laywer and later a judge.

In 1996 Corry made a comeback and after that she performed in many TV shows and released an album and a DVD.

Noel Kelehan

Noel Kelehan (December 26 1935 - February 6 2012) was an Irish musician, former conductor of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and former musical director of Radio Telefís Éireann. He retired as conductor in 1998.

As well as being an accomplished jazz pianist, he was most famous for being the conductor of many Irish entries to the Eurovision Song Contest, beginning in 1966 and ending in 1998. Noel Kelehan conducted five winning Irish entries, in 1980, 1987, 1992, 1993, and 1996. The winning Irish entry of 1970 was conducted by the Dutch host conductor Dolf van der Linden. In 1994, the winning song was performed without orchestral accompaniment. Still, an entry rated 2nd that year, To nie ja! performed by Edyta Górniak from Poland was conducted by him. In total, Noel Kelehan conducted 29 Eurovision entries, 24 of them Irish. Incidentally in 1999, after he retired, the use of an orchestra was discontinued at the Contest.

He passed away in Dublin on Monday, February 6, 2012, after a long illness.
