Wia Buze

Wia Buze is a Dutch singer. Most of her songs are sung in the dialect of the province of Groningen.

In 1995 the Dutch weren't allowed to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest because Willeke Alberti didn't gather enough points for the Netherlands in 1994 with her ballad Waar Is De Zon. So the Dutch organized their own contest. Every regional broadcaster sent an representative. The contest was won bij Wia Buze who represented RTV Noord with the song Bij alles Wat Ik doe. For one of her albums she recorded a new version of her winning song.

Wia coverd the Dutch entry for the ESC 2010,  Ik Ben Verliefd (Sha La Lie), in the dialect of the Dutch province of Groningen.
