Doce was a popular Portuguese female band from the 80's. Doce consisted of Laura Diogo, Lena Coelho, Fátima Padinha and Teresa Miguel. The last two were the female half of the band Gemini who represented Portugal in 1978 with Dai Li Dou.

Doce took part in the Portuguese national final in order to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1980 with the song Doce, which came 2nd, in 1981 they competed with the song Ali-Bábá, Um Homem Das Arábias, which came 4th.

One year later, in 1982, they won the Portuguese national final with Bem Bom and went on the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 in Harrogate to reach a very disappointing 13th position. There is also an English version of this song, called Bim Bom, as well as a Spanish version, called Bingo.

Their last attempt to represent Portugal was in 1984, with Barquinho Da Esperança they didn't reach the top 6.
